Commercial treadmills need a dedicated 120V, 20-amp branch circuit each, with a non-looped neutral and ground — three treadmills is three circuits, not one shared run. Doors are the companion trap: ADA sets a 32 in minimum clear opening measured with the door open 90 degrees, and a nominal 3 ft leaf does not deliver it once the stop and hardware are counted. What decides the room before the equipment list
Power, planned with the layout
Electrical is the item most often missed on a conversion, because the room was not wired for it. Commercial treadmill manufacturers specify a dedicated 120V, 20-amp branch circuit per treadmill with a non-looped neutral and ground — eight treadmills is eight circuits and a panel schedule that has to accommodate them. Settling that during design is what lets a cardio bank sit where the sight lines want it rather than where the existing outlets happen to be.
Accessibility is scoped per machine type, not per machine
The most common misreading of the ADA Standards on a fitness floor is that every unit has to be accessible. It does not: the scoping requires at least one of each TYPE of exercise machine to have a 30 by 48 in clear floor space served by an accessible route, rising to 36 by 48 in where that space is enclosed on three sides. The clear space may overlap the route and sit in the aisle behind the machine, which is exactly what makes a dense floor achievable — provided the layout is drawn before the equipment is ordered.
Designing for the peak, not the average
Usage is not evenly distributed, and the shape of the peak differs by facility type — a corporate room concentrates before work, at lunch and immediately after; student housing loads into a narrow evening window; a fire or police station is used across every shift and never really recovers. ACSM allows 25 to 50 sq ft per station, so the real decision is which pieces to duplicate rather than how many categories to cover. Breadth that sits idle is a poor trade against depth on whatever actually queues.

Yes. Fit Supply will take equipment in trade and pay you for it where it has value. Where it has none, we can still extract and remove it for a fee, so a room can be cleared and re-equipped in one project rather than leaving disposal as your problem.
How do I know a payment or wire instruction from you is genuine?
Verify it by phone before sending anything, and use a number you already have. Fit Supply does not change its payment or wire instructions by email alone. If you receive any payment, wire or account instruction that appears to come from us — or any change to one — call a Fit Supply number taken from a prior invoice or our official records, never a number contained in the email itself. Email is an insecure channel, invoice-redirection fraud is common in this industry, and payment sent to the wrong account does not discharge what is owed.
What warranty comes with the equipment?
Manufacturer warranties are passed through to you in full, and Fit Supply warrants its own installation work for 30 days. Warranty terms differ by manufacturer and by product line, so the specific coverage for what you are buying is set out in your quote rather than generalised here.
