Used Gym Equipment for Sale and Trade-In in Texas
Used Commercial Gym Equipment, Bought and Sold
Used commercial equipment is a different purchase from used home equipment. A commercial treadmill or selectorized machine was built for continuous use and has a service history behind it, which is why a five-year-old commercial unit is often a better buy than a new light-commercial one at the same price. What matters is where it came from and what was done to it before it was sold again.
Ours comes from two places. The first is facility refreshes we install: when an apartment community, health club, hotel or municipal room replaces its floor, the outgoing equipment is appraised on site, taken as trade-in value against the new order or bought outright, and removed by the same crew that installs the new room. The second is direct buyback from facilities that are closing or downsizing. Either way we know the machine's age, its environment and its service record before it is listed.

Selling or trading in a room
The sequence is the same whether it is one machine or a whole floor.

Where we buy and sell used equipment
Trade-ins and buybacks run wherever our own crews install: Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio in Texas, and Phoenix and Tucson in Arizona. New equipment, design and procurement are nationwide, and used inventory ships nationwide through Discount Online Fitness.
How used equipment moves through Fit Supply

Where it comes from
Appraisals are free. Send the make, model, quantity and a few photos and we will give you a trade-in or buyback figure, with removal included where our crews run. What we cannot resell we can still remove and dispose of as part of the install.

Free appraisals
Every used machine is inspected before it goes back out: frame and welds, upholstery, cables and pulleys on strength pieces, belts, decks, rollers and drive systems on cardio, and a full function test on the console. Wear items that fail inspection are replaced. For the online catalog and the inspection standard behind it, see Discount Online Fitness's certified pre-owned program, the sister company that carries our used inventory nationwide.

Inspected before resale
Used equipment buys well for a first amenity room, a fire station or police gym on a fixed budget, a private school weight room, a small studio, or a facility replacing a single failed machine that does not justify a new-equipment order. It is a poor fit where warranty length is the deciding factor: used commercial equipment carries our inspection and a short warranty on the work done, not the manufacturer's original term.
In short
Fit Supply buys and sells used commercial gym equipment. Most of what we sell used comes out of the facilities we refresh: when a property or club replaces a room, the outgoing treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and strength machines are appraised, taken as trade-in or bought outright, and resold. In Texas and Arizona our own crews handle the pickup and delivery; nationwide, our sister company Discount Online Fitness runs the certified pre-owned program.
Used equipment questions
Who buys used gym equipment in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio?
Fit Supply does. We appraise commercial treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and strength machines from facilities across Texas, offer trade-in value or an outright buyback, and pick up with our own crews. Single home machines are better sold through our sister company Discount Online Fitness.
Do you buy used treadmills?
Yes, commercial-grade treadmills in working or repairable condition. Send the make, model, hours if the console shows them, and photos of the deck and console for a figure. Residential treadmills are usually worth more to a private buyer than to us.
Is used commercial equipment worth buying?
Often, yes. Commercial cardio and strength equipment is built for continuous use, so a well-maintained unit from a club or apartment room has years left in it and costs a fraction of new. The questions to ask are where it came from, what was replaced during inspection, and what warranty covers the work.
What is the difference between Fit Supply used equipment and Discount Online Fitness certified pre-owned?
Same company family, two channels. Fit Supply handles trade-ins and buybacks as part of facility projects in Texas and Arizona, with our own crews. Discount Online Fitness runs the certified pre-owned online catalog and ships nationwide. Inventory moves between the two.
Can I trade in old equipment against a new order?
Yes. Trade-in value is appraised on site and credited against the new equipment, and the old machines leave with the crew that installs the new room. Appraisals are free.
Do you deliver used equipment outside Texas and Arizona?
Through Discount Online Fitness, yes — its certified pre-owned catalog ships nationwide by freight. Our own delivery and installation crews run in Texas and Arizona.
