Gym Equipment Installation in Dallas

Delivered, Placed to the Plan and Tested by Our Own Crew

Dallas is Fit Supply’s home market. The Irving office sits inside the metroplex, which means a DFW installation is performed by the company’s own installers rather than coordinated through a third party — the same people who specified the room are accountable for how it lands in it.

Our records show 463 Dallas sales orders shipped as a commercial installation, across 302 separate customer sites — orders the system records as installed by us rather than dropped at a dock. Statewide that figure is 3,754 orders across 2,469 customers.

What an installation day actually involves

The work starts before delivery, with a survey of how the equipment reaches the room: the loading point, the lift or the stairs, the corridor turns, and the door. That last one catches more projects than anything else — the ADA sets a 32 in minimum clear opening measured with the door open 90 degrees, and a nominal 3 ft leaf does not deliver it once the stop and hardware are counted. A rack that cannot get through a finished doorway is a problem discovered at the worst possible moment.

On the day, floors are protected before anything is wheeled in, equipment is placed to the design plan rather than to wherever it fits, and every machine is assembled and tested on the spot. Anything that will not run is called in before the crew leaves. Boxes, pallets and crates go out with them.

The electrical question, settled early

Commercial treadmill manufacturers specify a dedicated 120V, 20-amp branch circuit per treadmill, with a non-looped neutral and ground. Three treadmills is three circuits, not one shared run, and networked consoles need a data path on top of that. In a Dallas building that is cheap while the walls are open and disruptive afterwards, so it is raised during design rather than on delivery day. Our design process covers where that fits in the sequence.

Dallas rooms we have installed

The Dallas apartment cardio room shows a finished install with its 3D render and floor plan beside the real photograph, and the DeSoto municipal recreation center is a larger DFW facility documented the same way. In short

Fit Supply has installed on 463 Dallas sales orders across 302 customer sites, by its own crew from the Irving office inside the metroplex rather than subcontracted. An install is surveyed for route and access first, placed exactly where the design plan calls for it, assembled and tested on site, and the crates leave with the crew. The ADA sets a 32 in minimum clear door opening, and each commercial treadmill needs its own dedicated 120V, 20-amp circuit — both are settled before the truck is loaded.

Gym Equipment Installation in Dallas — common questions

Does Fit Supply install in Dallas with its own crew?

Yes. The Irving office is inside the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, and DFW installations are performed by Fit Supply’s own installers rather than subcontracted. Outside Texas and Arizona, installation is coordinated through the nationwide partner network instead.

What has to be ready before an installation?

The room finished enough to protect, a confirmed delivery route from the loading point to the door, and the electrical in place — a dedicated 120V, 20-amp circuit per commercial treadmill, plus a data path for networked consoles. We survey the route and the door clearance before scheduling.

How much installation work has Fit Supply done in Dallas?

463 Dallas sales orders were shipped as a commercial installation, across 302 separate customer sites — orders recorded as installed by us rather than delivered to a dock. Statewide the figure is 3,754 orders across 2,469 customers.

How long does a Dallas gym installation take?

It depends on the piece count and access rather than on the square footage. A typical apartment amenity room is a single day once the route is clear; a large facility with staged deliveries runs longer. We give a real schedule after the site survey, not before it.

Do you remove the packaging and old equipment?

Packaging always — boxes, pallets and crates leave with the crew the same day. Old equipment can be removed as part of the same visit, and where it has resale value Fit Supply will take it in trade rather than charge to dispose of it.
