Multi-Property Fitness Equipment Across Nashville

Nashville is the market where our Tennessee work is most concentrated: completed orders for 11 separate customers, split between development groups outfitting new buildings and on-site teams refreshing rooms already in service. That mix matters, because the two buy differently — a developer is specifying against a pro forma and a delivery date, while a property manager is replacing what wore out first and matching what is already on the floor.

Nashville work concentrates in apartment communities and student housing near the universities. Both run on a turn calendar, so the constraint is usually the window rather than the budget — a room has to be emptied, floored, filled and open again before residents arrive.

Design and equipment specification for a Nashville project are handled directly by Fit Supply, with delivery and installation coordinated through our nationwide installation-partner network rather than a travelling crew.

Nashville anchors Middle Tennessee alongside Brentwood, Hendersonville and Murfreesboro, so an operator running several communities across the metro is handled as one project rather than several. We also work Franklin, where our documented Tennessee install photography was taken, and Memphis at the other end of the state.

The scope available in Nashville covers equipment consultation, layout and design, procurement, flooring and mirrors, delivery and installation, finance options and extended warranties. On-site service and preventive maintenance are performed directly by Fit Supply in Texas and Arizona only; in Tennessee they run through our service-partner network.

Working in Nashville

Most of our work in Nashville is apartment and condominium communities and student housing.

What we equip in Nashville

The two categories below are the ones Nashville works in most, ranked by the volume we have actually supplied there. They are not variations on one specification — the room decides the equipment, which is why we draw it before quoting it.

Apartment and condominium amenity rooms

When a room feels cramped with only a handful of machines in it, the cause is almost never the equipment — it is circulation. ADA sets a 60 in diameter turning space and a 36 in minimum clear route width, and in a 400 to 600 sq ft room those two dimensions quietly consume more floor than anyone expects, deciding how many machines can face which way. Reserving them on a drawing costs nothing. Recovering them after the equipment has landed usually means sending a piece back. More on apartment and condominium amenity rooms.

Student housing fitness rooms

Student housing has the sharpest peak of any facility we equip: a narrow evening window when most of the building wants the same three pieces, with nobody on duty. That makes the planning question which pieces to duplicate, not how many categories to cover. ACSM allows 25 to 50 sq ft per station, so breadth is bought with floor that could have gone to depth — and an empty rowing machine beside a queue for the squat rack is what residents remember at renewal. More on student housing fitness rooms.

Service, Repairs and Preventive Maintenance in Nashville

Fit Supply coordinates equipment service, repairs, and preventive maintenance nationwide through our network of service and installation partners, rather than a Fit Supply crew.

Coverage in Nashville

Nashville is part of our nationwide service network, alongside Brentwood and Hendersonville. A local service partner handles repairs, warranty work and preventive maintenance visits to the same standard Fit Supply sets for the work our own crews perform directly in Texas and Arizona.

Preventive maintenance plans

Preventive maintenance is offered in three tiers — Silver, Gold and Platinum — see the full PM tier structure. Every repair and PM visit is quoted and approved before work begins.

In short

Fit Supply equips commercial fitness rooms in Nashville, TN and throughout the Middle Tennessee area, including Brentwood, Hendersonville and Murfreesboro. Rooms are planned against the ACSM allowance of 25 to 50 sq ft per station before any equipment is quoted. Most of our Nashville work is in apartment and condominium communities, student housing.

Common questions about Nashville projects

Does an alcove or recessed bay change the clearance we need?

Yes. ADA requires a 30 by 48 in clear floor space for at least one of each TYPE of machine, but where that space is enclosed on three sides it becomes 36 by 48 in. In an alcove layout that difference frequently decides whether the last piece fits, which is a reason to settle the plan before the order.

What matters most for a gym on an upper residential floor?

The structure and the floor build-up. IBC Table 1607.1 designs fitness areas for 100 psf against 40 psf for residential areas outside sleeping rooms, so the structural engineer confirms the change of use. ASTM F2772 then treats floor performance as measured properties, which matters most in a free-weight area sitting above occupied apartments.

Do we need a structural check before adding weights in Tennessee?

For a ground-floor slab, rarely. Above grade, it is the sensible order of operations: IBC table 1607.1 asks 100 psf of a gymnasium and 40 psf of a residential floor, and free weights concentrate load rather than spreading it. We lay the heavy equipment out against whatever the structural drawings allow, so the plan reflects the building instead of the building having to absorb the plan.

Do you cover properties near Nashville?

Yes. Nashville sits inside our coverage in Middle Tennessee, and the same crews work Brentwood, Hendersonville and Murfreesboro. For an operator running more than one property across those markets, that means one specification, one point of contact and one parts channel rather than a separate arrangement per site.

What are your payment terms?

Terms vary from deal to deal and are set out in your proposal. What does not vary: a 50% deposit is required on all orders before equipment is ordered. Finance options are available and are quoted alongside the equipment.
