Apartment Fitness Equipment Supplied Across Memphis

Our Memphis work runs through on-site property teams rather than development groups — three separate customers, each buying for a building already occupied. That is a different specification problem from a new build: the room exists, its footprint is fixed, and the question is what fits the space and the residents who already use it rather than what the drawings allow.

Memphis work concentrates in apartment and condominium communities. Replacing into an occupied room usually means matching a floor plan nobody drew for fitness in the first place, so the layout tends to decide the equipment list rather than the other way round.

Design and equipment specification for a Memphis project are handled directly by Fit Supply, with delivery and installation coordinated through our nationwide installation-partner network rather than a travelling crew.

Memphis anchors West Tennessee alongside Germantown, Bartlett and Collierville, so an operator running several communities across the metro is handled as one project rather than several.

The scope available in Memphis covers equipment consultation, layout and design, procurement, flooring and mirrors, delivery and installation, finance options and extended warranties. On-site service and preventive maintenance are performed directly by Fit Supply in Texas and Arizona only; in Tennessee they run through our service-partner network.

Working in Memphis

Most of our work in Memphis is apartment and condominium communities.

What we equip in Memphis

The category below is the one Memphis works in most, ranked by the volume we have actually supplied there. Each is a different specification problem, which is why the equipment list comes after the room rather than before it.

Apartment and condominium amenity rooms

When a room feels cramped with only a handful of machines in it, the cause is almost never the equipment — it is circulation. ADA sets a 60 in diameter turning space and a 36 in minimum clear route width, and in a 400 to 600 sq ft room those two dimensions quietly consume more floor than anyone expects, deciding how many machines can face which way. Reserving them on a drawing costs nothing. Recovering them after the equipment has landed usually means sending a piece back. More on apartment and condominium amenity rooms.

Service, Repairs and Preventive Maintenance in Memphis

Fit Supply coordinates equipment service, repairs, and preventive maintenance nationwide through our network of service and installation partners, rather than a Fit Supply crew.

Coverage in Memphis

Memphis is part of our nationwide service network, alongside Germantown and Bartlett. A local service partner handles repairs, warranty work and preventive maintenance visits to the same standard Fit Supply sets for the work our own crews perform directly in Texas and Arizona.

Preventive maintenance plans

Preventive maintenance is offered in three tiers — Silver, Gold and Platinum — see the full PM tier structure. Every repair and PM visit is quoted and approved before work begins.

Common questions about Memphis projects

Does an unstaffed resident gym change what you specify?

Considerably. With nobody present to spot or intervene, we favor equipment that is safe to use alone and hard to misuse, and we keep the ADA clearances genuinely clear — a 30 by 48 in space for at least one of each machine type, reached by a 36 in accessible route. In a staffed club an obstruction gets moved; in an unstaffed room it stays there.

Do we need a structural check before adding weights in Tennessee?

For a ground-floor slab, rarely. Above grade, it is the sensible order of operations: IBC table 1607.1 asks 100 psf of a gymnasium and 40 psf of a residential floor, and free weights concentrate load rather than spreading it. We lay the heavy equipment out against whatever the structural drawings allow, so the plan reflects the building instead of the building having to absorb the plan.

Do you cover properties near Memphis?

Yes. Memphis sits inside our coverage in West Tennessee, and the same crews work Germantown, Bartlett and Collierville. For an operator running more than one property across those markets, that means one specification, one point of contact and one parts channel rather than a separate arrangement per site.

What does your installation include?

It starts with a site survey — we collect the measurements, access details and photographs before anything is quoted, so the install is priced against your actual building. Fit Supply installs essentially anywhere, including situations needing a crane or the temporary removal of railings, and that work is priced into the install rather than surfacing as a surprise. We also handle relocations, extractions, assembly and upholstery, and can provide storage for a fee.

Can I cancel or return equipment after I order it?

It depends what it is. Custom and modified products cannot be cancelled, returned, rescheduled or refused, and they require full payment up front. Standard stock products can be returned only with our prior written authorization, in new and resalable condition in the original packaging, at your expense and risk, and are subject to a 25% restocking charge. After a proposal is executed, cancellation carries a 25% fee of the proposal total. This is why we would rather spend the extra day on the layout than have you order twice.
