A Full-Floor Equipment Buildout Across Cardio, Strength and Functional Zones
This is a real Fit Supply project for a new commercial health club and gym in Jacksonville, Florida — proof of the same nationwide equipment design and installation process at the scale of a full club floor, told here at full length.

The Jacksonville Gym Floor
The brief
A new standalone commercial gym opening in Jacksonville, Florida needed a complete equipment buildout — not one amenity room added to an existing building, but an entire floor specified from scratch for members who choose a gym on the strength of its equipment. That is a different scale of project than most of the rooms on this site: the equipment list has to cover real cardio variety, a genuine strength section and functional training space, all at once, for a facility with no existing equipment to work around.
A full floor, not one room
The finished floor runs a row of StairMaster stepmill climbers, each with its own display, alongside Rogue Echo rowers and Echo air bikes for cardio variety beyond a standard treadmill line. A Nautilus cable station covers guided functional and cable work, and the strength section includes a dedicated glute and back-extension bench built into the room’s own accent wall. Spreading cardio across three genuinely different modalities — stepmills, rowers, air bikes — rather than one machine type repeated is a real specification decision, not a filler assortment.
Equipment matched to a real commercial floor
StairMaster, Rogue, Nautilus and Echo each cover a different part of this floor, and none of them was chosen because it is a house line — the same fit-not-rank approach behind every Fit Supply project. A standalone gym competing on its equipment has to get real variety and real capacity right on day one; there is no slow ramp-up the way an apartment amenity room has, since members are choosing this floor over other gyms from the moment it opens.

An apartment amenity room serves residents who already live there; a standalone commercial gym has to win members away from other gyms on the strength of its equipment and floor from the day it opens, so the equipment list needs real depth and variety across cardio, strength and functional training rather than a compact, single-room mix. The design and installation process is the same either way — a real site visit and a mix matched to who uses the room — just applied at a larger scale.
