NuStep Recumbent Cross Trainers
Six Models Across the T4r, T5 and T6 Series, for Users From 400 to 600 lb
Power and footprint are the planning details that differ most here. The T4r runs on four AA batteries in a 60 by 27 inch footprint; the T5 line runs on a 12 V battery in 73 by 30 inches; the T6PRO and T6MAX take the same footprint but stand 52 inches tall and run from an AC adapter, so they need an outlet within reach. Each product page lists the published figures.

T4r Series
Recumbent Cross Trainer / T4r
NuStep's compact cross trainer: a 60 in long frame, a wheelchair-height seat that swivels so a user can transfer on from any angle, and 10 resistance levels, for users up to 400 lb.

T5 Series
Recumbent Cross Trainer / T5
The T5 frame with a low step-through, a 360° swivel seat, flip-up arm rests and 15 resistance levels from a low-inertia start, for users up to 500 lb.

T5 Series
Recumbent Cross Trainer / T5XR and T5XRW
The T5 frame rated for users up to 600 lb, with a reclining swivel seat, grips that rotate 40° and an optional Flex-Foot system. The T5XRW is the same machine with a 22 in wide seat.

T6 Series
Recumbent Cross Trainer / T6PRO and T6MAX
The T6 frame with a dual-touchscreen HD console, a reclining swivel seat and 15 resistance levels. The T6PRO seats users up to 500 lb on an 18 in seat; the T6MAX, up to 600 lb on a 22 in seat.
In short
A NuStep recumbent cross trainer is a seated stepper: the user sits in a swivel seat and pushes linked arm handles and foot pedals through a step length they set themselves. NuStep builds it in three series: the compact T4r, the T5 line (T5, T5XR and the wide-seat T5XRW) and the T6 line (T6PRO and the wide-seat T6MAX) with a dual-touchscreen console, for users from 400 to 600 lb.
NuStep Cross Trainers: questions
Is this the complete NuStep Cross Trainers range?
Yes. These are all six NuStep cross trainers sold for commercial settings: the T4r, T5, T5XR, T5XRW, T6PRO and T6MAX. The T5XR and T5XRW share one page, as do the T6PRO and T6MAX, because each pair is one frame that differs in seat width and user capacity. NuStep's T4r-h is a home model it sells direct, so it is not shown.
Can NuStep cross trainers be mixed with other brands?
Yes. They pair with the rest of the NuStep line or with any of the other manufacturers Fit Supply carries; the mix is built around what the room and its users need.
