In 2014, he shifted to a distributor sales position, focusing on commercial fitness equipment in vertical market settings.

Brian has achieved significant milestones throughout his career, including becoming the first store manager to exceed $1.5 million in annual sales at his specialty retail location. He holds STC and RTC certifications from TRX and played a key role in launching Expresso Fitness in 2007, which introduced the industry’s first interactive biking system. These accomplishments, coupled with his industry knowledge, have cemented his reputation as a leader in the fitness equipment field.

With more than 21 years in the fitness industry, Brandon Barnard has developed a well-rounded perspective on both club operations and equipment solutions. He began his career in 2004 as a Membership Advisor at 24 Hour Fitness in downtown Portland, quickly advancing to General Manager. His career then took him to Chicago, where he managed several corporate Crunch Fitness locations, and later to San Francisco, where he helped open and manage new clubs. In 2015, Brandon returned to Portland with his wife and joined Les Mills as an Account Executive—a role that introduced him to the fitness design and equipment space, where he has found his true passion.

Don Payne

With over 35 years of experience in the fitness industry, Don Payne brings extensive expertise to the commercial fitness sales team. He has worked across various market segments, including health clubs, medical, multi-housing, hospitality, and corporate fitness. Don is especially passionate about supporting youth and school fitness programs, helping coaches create the best fitness and sports performance centers, no matter the budget or facility size.
For over 13 years, Don has been the National Equipment Director for the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils (NFGFC), working on the DON’T QUIT! school awards program. This initiative has provided state-of-the-art fitness centers to 155 schools nationwide, benefiting over 2 million workouts each year. Many of these schools serve under-resourced communities, making these new fitness centers crucial to their success.
